Cabinet (commode à vantaux) — François-Honoré-Georges Jacob-Desmalter

Jacob-Desmalter was the leading Empire furniture maker, and this cabinet is eloquent testimony that his graceful handling of large proportions did not lessen during the Restoration. The form of stamp was in use from 1815 to 1826.
