The Wurlitzer company marketed the "Lomonal" bow in their catalogs of the 1930s and 1940s. The bow was an experimental metal bow that was invented by the mechanical engineer L. Mont Allison. Description: hollow round metal stick, possibly a ferruous alloy plated with copper and painted brown, with pearl-inlaid ebony frog, button with alternate metal and ebony bands, screw passing through a plastic insert in the bow, brass wire wrapping and leather tumb guard; hair removed.
