Shiva sits enthroned with Parvati and Ganesha on his lap and his vahana Nandi below. In the upper left Ganesha is shown again; to the lower left is a two-armed Vishnu while to the lower right, is a four-armed Vishnu and finally in the upper left, is Vaishnavi. Unlike the early Ravi Varma Press prints this work is graphic in its presentation and shows no connection to oil painting prototypes. The colors appear as bold fields delineated with strong outlines. This more graphic style increasingly typifies much of the Ravi Varma Press production in the 1920s and 1930s.
