Klong Khaek — Unknown

The are two types of Klong Khaek: tua phu (male voice) and a lower pitched tua mia (female). They probably were introduced from Java and first used in processions before being used in Thai ensembles. The double-headed barrel drum is held vertically across the players lap when played.
