This stonepaste tile depicts a horse standing between two haloed figures. In the upper register, an elephant, a panther, and a tiger face toward the left. Likely from a building at the Ilkhanid summer palace of Takht-i Sulaiman, this tile was one of many depicting animals and figures in procession above a primary scene. The use of cobalt and turquoise glazes was typical of ceramics produced during the Ilkhanid period, particularly in Kashan.
