Glass plaque with foliage — Unknown

Translucent cobalt blue, backed with opaque white. Rectangular flat plaque, with major axis vertical; beveled edges, grozed at back. Decoration in relief: large acanthus spray at bottom, from which emerge two vertical but sinuous leaf scrolls with four principal flowers arranged in pairs of one facing and the other in profile. On back, thin undecorated layer of white. Intact; dulling, pitting, iridescence, and patches of creamy brown weathering.
