Written in black ink, this fragmentary papyrus shows remains of four lines on one side and five on the other. The lines, in Arabic, are written in a thicker script than the other examples with naskhi or cursive, abbreviated script. This is probably a part of a letter concerning the collection of taxes on an agricultural land, as the Arabic word kharaj, which describes such a tax, appears in the fourth line.
