Abbey drew this Christmas card and used it to send greetings, to an unnamed recipient, from himself and his wlfe in 1906. The artist met Mary Gertrude Mead in 1888 at Russell House, an artist's colony in the Cotswolds village of Broadway, and they married in 1890.
