Thick-walled body fragment. Translucent blue, turquoise blue appearing green, opaque white and yellow. Carinated side, with two convex curves: the upper narrow, and the lower deeper and curving in at bottom. Striped mosaic pattern formed from lengths of different canes in parallel, vertical bands: white, blue with a spiral white thread, green, blue with a spiral white thread, yellow, blue with a spiral white thread, green, and blue with a spiral white thread. Polished exterior and part of edges; slight pitting of surface bubbles; dulling and creamy iridescent weathering on interior and edges. The fragment must come from a deep bowl with a carinated profile – an unusual shape for striped mosaic glass.
