Tea service — Chelsea Porcelain Manufactory|Jefferyes Hammett O'Neale

The Chelsea factory often used illustrations drawn from Aesop’s Fables to decorate porcelain in the early 1750s. Much of the best painting of Fable scenes was executed by Jefferyes Hammet O’Neale, to whom the decoration of these pieces is attributed.
