Bowl on foot with arms of the Ridolfi di Borgo family

The center of this deep bowl is decorated with the arms of the Ridolfi di Borgo of Florence, many of whose leading families went to nearby Montelupo for their maiolica. The scale pattern of the decoration is related to that seen on Venetian glass.
