Vase — Chelsea Porcelain Manufactory

The vase, in the form of an eel basket, is modeled after one designed for the Meissen porcelain factory by J.J. Kaendler about 1747. The vase is emblematic of Water from a set representing the four Elements (air, fire, earth and water).
