The Sibyl Aprippa — Léonard Limosin

There is a full-length version of this female prophet, or sibyl, painted by Léonard Limosin himself, in a series depicting sibyls in the Walters Art Museum, Baltimore. A half-length version, painted by the master and possibly the model for this plaque, is in the British Museum, London.
