The mark on the underside of this plate—"A.T."—is for Août, or August, and cutting and binding wheat is an activity of that month. Other 'months' plates in this series are known, inscribed "Mi," "Av," "Jv," "Jl," "St," and "Ob," for May, April. January, July, September and October.
