Paten — Unknown

The inscription may be translated, "The people of the abbey of Ferentillo ordered this vessel dedicated to the Blessed Mary." The paten seems to have been made to incorporate an existing image of the Coronation of the Virgin, which is perhaps as much as two hundred years older, and it may have been presented to the nearby abbey of San Pietro in Valle.
