This is an example of the quintessential Brooks Brothers three-piece suit, from its heyday in the 1950s and early '60s. The use of tweed and the addition of patch pockets lend a sporty feel to what is an otherwise conservative shape. Brooks Brothers was founded by Henry Sands Brooks in 1818 in New York City as a ready-made and custom men's clothier.
