Shoes — Unknown

An interesting confluence of a child's Mary Jane and a women's T-strap is evident in this pair of girl's shoes. The particular design of the T-strap, employing a large topstitched flaring tab which is cut to extend as narrow curved bands down to the sole, was a feature of women's styles of the mid-1920s. The basic shape, however, is a direct expression of the classic girl's Mary Jane style with its wide round toe, flat heel, and buttoned instep strap.
