Featured, is a good example of a lace-covered parasol which is particularly attractive when opened as the lace breaks over the very sharp points created by the ribs. The makers are often identified on the better parasols. In this case a star and moon have been insiced on the runner which seems like a trademark logo that would have been recognizable at the time.
