The obverse image here depicts the apochrapal story based on Genesis 41:45 in which Pharoah (at left) gives Joseph a bride named Aseneth, daughter of Potipherah, who is a pagan priest. In the story, Aseneth falls in love with Joseph, but he will not marry her because she is pagan. He relents after she repents and converts.
