Tess Sholom|Bill Blass Ltd.
fall/winter 1982 · metal · Costume Institute

Tess Sholom, the designer of this necklace, often worked with well-known designers to design jewelry to accessorize their collections. According to an August 1, 1982, Washington Post article, Bill Blass asked Sholom to design rosebud jewelry to wear with his fall 1982 rose-themed collection. This cuff bracelet was her interpretation.
