Tess Sholom often worked with designers to design jewelry to accessorize their collections. According to an August 1, 1982, Washington Post article, Bill Blass asked Sholom to design rosebud jewelry to wear with his fall 1982 rose-themed collection. This torque necklace was her interpretation.
