The shape of this tie is known as the "kipper." The original shape was designed by Michael Fish who worked for Turnbull & Asser in the 1960s before opening his own store, Mr. Fish, in 1966. This tie, although dated after the years he worked with the company, shows the influence Fish had on men's wear at the time of the Peacock Revolution.
