Evening dress — Charles Klein

Dresses with Irish crochet lace were very popular during the Belle Époque. This example of a full-length evening garment fashioned from that lace is given a level of three-dimensionality from the use of lace and pendant balls. They add surface interest, as does the arrangement of the ball fringe over the peach velvet hem band.
