Evening belt — Unknown

This belt is an eye-catching accessory that would have accentuated the wearer's, Millicent Rogers, svelte figure. The construction details are quite unusual, and it is clear that to create a piece such as this would be extremely labor intensive. The gold kid is intricately and precisely cut out and overstitched in rows that are a 1/8 inch apart.
