Evening dress — Giorgio di Sant'Angelo

Giorgio di Sant'Angelo was noted for his use of multiple inspirations. In this evening dress, he combines both Renaissance and gypsy or possibly Native American influences. The ribbon and braid appliqué are reminiscent of Seminole patchwork.
