Ensemble — Vera Maxwell

Maxwell was the first designer to use Ultrasuede, immediately followed by Halston. For Maxwell, the new material only affirmed her verities of easy case, tactility, and luxury in color. Her assembly of parts, or of multiple accessories, is characteristic. If the modern woman, according to Maxwell, was to be ready for anything personally and professionally, she was exceptionally well-provisioned.
