金 磁州窯山水立虎紋白釉瓷枕|Pillow with landscapes featuring Daoist figures and a tiger — Zhang family workshop

Cizhou ware was produced in kilns near Handan, Hebei province in northern China, primarily from the tenth to the thirteenth century. The products of these kilns were generally for practical use and included bottles, bowls, cups, vases, and pillows—often with lively decorations in brown or black pigment on a pale background. Floral designs and landscapes with figures from folktales are typical decorative themes.
