現代 謝稚柳 新疆紀行詩四首 鏡片|Four Poems from a Trip to Xinjiang — Xie Zhiliu

Xie composed these poems and an accompanying preface during a trip to Xinjiang, in the far west of China, in July and August of 1991. The texts, written on four sheets of letter paper that Xie subsequently mounted together, describe an Uighur dance; the Buddhist cave temples at Kucha, Bäzäklik, and Kizil; the scenery of the Heavenly Mountains (Tian Shan); and the ruins of the ancient city of Gaochang, to the east of Turfan.
