This idyllic painting records the gathering of government officials and belongs to the Joseon painting genre known as gyehoedo. Though the gathering is reason for the painting, the figures are diminutively situated on an outcrop in the lower center. Some of the officials likely arrived by the moored boats and, in the bottom left corner, two more officials approach the gathering, one on horseback and another barely visible behind a boulder. In the river are two boats and on the opposite embankment in the middle ground is a fisherman with a hat coming to shore. There are two small figures on the road walking to the village seen through the mist. Slightly above center is a faint pagoda in the mountain range in the distance.
