Georges Pull

Based in Paris, Georges Pull sold off his taxidermy and curiosity shop in Paris in order to devote himself to rediscovering the ceramic techniques of Bernard Palissy (1510-ca.1590). Though this example featuring a lizard in the center surrounded by shells resembles Palissy’s work, Pull has signed the back with his own name.
