This impressive pair of Victorian pilgrim bottles look back at a form derived from seventeenth-century wine bottles; these examples were only intended to be used as part of a grand display in the dining room. Garrard was one of the most important jewelers in London; in fact, Queen Victoria appointed Garrard the very first Crown Jeweler only a few years after his firm produced these bottles.
