One of forty prints from Rowlandson's "World in Miniature; Consisting of Groups of Figures, for the Illustration of Landscape Scenery." Three scenes: at top, an officer converses with a young woman outside of an inn, while two other men look on with jealousy; at middle, a horseman stops at a gypsy camp, where he embraces a woman who stands alongside his horse; below, a young couple in conversation while seated on a fence, a hilly landscape and sea shore in the background.
