Five intact cards from Baseball card series (W553). Distributed by "Marble Gum", Philadelphia. Several color tints including blue, pink, and black and white. Full-length action-posed player. Facsimile signature, team and league printed within image. Photo is bordered by simulated ornate "frame". 10 baseball cards. New research shows non-sports (silent movie stars) also included in series. Each card measures approximately: 2 3/4 x 1 3/4". Back is blank. Strip contains (from top to bottom): Frank Frisch, St. Louis, National League; Leon Goslin, (no team name/league); Frank O'Doul, (no team name/league); Al Simmons, Philadelphia, American League; Mickey Cochrane, Philadelphia, American League.
