Calligraphic exercize in French, presented in a double rectangular frame broken up in the upper left corner by the initial letter 'D'. The text runs for six lines and the ascenders and descenders are highlighted in gold. Part of an album with 26 examples of calligraphy and micrography, thought to have been produced in France or possibly Antwerp at the beginning of the seventeenth century.
