Interior, nude athlete to right, with his right arm extended, holding a strigil in his right hand; in the field behind him, an aryballos; on the ground, a goal post; Exterior, start of handle root; profiled ring foot; resting surface and inner wall of foot are glazed; the underside of the floor has a thin band of reserve on the outermost edge, followed by a wide black glazed band, a thin band of reserve, and a black glazed band; the center is in reserve, and in the middle there is a small circle with a dot in the center
