Design for a certificate to accompany the award of a bronze medal for years of dedication to a single employer, awarded by the Guilds Society of Lower Austria — Erwin Puchinger

The Independent Workers Union of Lower Austria was founded in 1839 to protect the interests of small businesses and entrepreneurs. The Union was not only involved in the resolving of issues, but also progressively promoted Austrian product by organizing fairs, exhibitions, and in 1909 even opened a museum for technique and industry that survives to this day. Individual encouragement was given through medals and certificates, such as this one, which rewarded loyal employees for their years of dedication to a single employer.
