'The garden of Hecelchacán' is one of eight prints from 'Estampas de Yucatán' (1946). The portfolio has a Prologue written by Jean Charlot in both Spanish and English. All eight lithographs are signed and dated (1945) by Zalce and they were printed by José Sánchez in the workshop of the Taller de Grafica Popular (Fine Arts division). The edition was limited to 100 copies. The number of this copy is not recorded in the space provided for this information on the inside cover. The prints are housed in the original purple buckram casing with the letterpress Prologue forming the first sheet.
