Charger with foliate design — Unknown

Green, yellow, and brown are used in a lush composition that features a straight tree flanked by two curving trees with knotted trunks. The tin-glazed charger was made in the second half of the eighteenth century, possibly in Talavera or Puente del Arzobispo, two centers of pottery production in the Castile region of Spain.
