Drawing, design for a man's costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The costume consists of a blue jacket with broad soulders, worn over a white shirt with a thin burgundy tie, matching burgundy pocket square and white lapel rosette, wide, white pants, pointed-toe, white shoes, white 'Panama' hat with burgundy band, and yellow gloves. An additional sheet of notes, typed by Vincente Minnelli, presents the details of the costume design: "#28 / Bright blue broadcloth coat, yellow / chamois gloves, white broadcloth / trousers. White shirt, wine colored / tie handkerchief and hat band on a / jaunty white panama."
