Tile with Arms of Thomas Coke — Unknown

The Latin inscription on this tile reads: "Pray for the souls of Thomas Coke and his wife Alice." The rectangular shape and the technique are characteristic of the tilers of Malvern, who supplied thousands of tiles for the pavings and wainscots of Great Malvern Priory, among them many with coats of arms.
