Drawing, design for a man's costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The costume consists of a black suit with black frock coat, worn over white waistcoat and shirt, high-waisted, wide pants, pointed-toe shoes, white gloves, a black overcoat hanging on one arm, and a black hat held on the opposite hand. The male figure represented wearing the costume has black hair with long, curly whiskers and a thin mustache.
