Drawing, design for a man's costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The costume consists of a brown plaid jacket ovwer a white shirt with red tie and brown plaid waistcoat, and high-waisted, green plaid trousers, worn with a brown plaid beret and yellow gloves and pointed-toe shoes. An additional sheet of notes typed by Vincente Minnelli describes the details of the costume design: "#26 [crossed out] 8 / Tan and brown plaid coat, (sport jacket) with / belt, waistcoat of same material. Light and / dark green plaid trousers, white shirt [crossed out], red / tie [crossed out], yellow chamois gloves. Brown plaid cap. / Material is of a rough heavy wool."
