Drawing, design for a woman's costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The costume consists of a tailored dress of light beige fabric, with ample shoulders and lean, slightly flared, mid-calf skirt, and a beige belt emphasizing the waist. A black scarf covers the neck, and long gloves, ample around the elbows, cover the hands. A tilted, black hat, and pointed-toe, black shoes complete the outfit. According to an additional sheet of notes typed by Vincente Minnelli (included with matted drawing), the costume is: "#4 [underlined]/ (6) [In graphite]/ Tailored dress of light weight beige/ wool broadcloth.
