Written by Isabella Catanea Parasole, Italian, ca. 1575-ca. 1625, published by Mauritio Bona, Rome. From top to bottom, and left to right: Design composed of 2 gridded horizontal registers that are framed on all sides by decorative borders. Top register is decorated with a pattern of curving vines and leaves, ornamented with black diamonds, which form a heart shape around the central flower. Bottom register is decorated in the center with a vase of flowers that is flanked on either side by curving vines of leaves.
