Published by Alessandro Paganini, Italian, active 16th century. Embroidery design decorated with curving vines that come together and form a leaf upon which is a human face. Each vine also terminates in a leaf with an animal or human face. The very bottom of the design ends in an ornamental element. This is the same design printed on page 6, but instead of being printed in white, it is printed in black.
