The presence of prison bars dominates this press photograph of a recently booked inmate. Reverend Lawrence Hight of Ina, Illinois, was arrested on murder charges along with his mistress, Elsie Sweetin. The lovers later confessed to poisoning their spouses with arsenic so that they could be together.
