Uninscribed Scarab — Unknown

This scarab-shaped amulet with an undecorated base is made of green faience. Green stones and green glazes were often used in the manufacture of amulets: for the ancient Egyptians, the color referred to vegetation and therefore to life, fertility, and renewal.
