Funerary Cone of the Scribe Wadjmose — Unknown

This cone has the impression of a stamp seal inscribed for a man named Wadjmose who was scibe of the second phophet (priest) of the god Amun. For a drawing of this impression see http://www.funerarycones.com/, number 348. The Museum's excavation team uncovered forty cones of this type in the courtyard of TT 39, the tomb of Puyemre. In the division of finds, three, including this one and cones 15.10.32-.33 were given to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
