Scarab Inscribed for Queen Ahmose

This ring bezel was found among the hand bones of an unidentified woman who was buried in the tomb of Hatnefer (see 35.3.1). The inscription on the base reads: The King's Great Wife, Ahmose. Ahmose was the principal queen of Thutmose I and the mother of Hatshepsut.
