This figure, possibly a Khmer queen, kneels in adoration, suggesting she was part of an ensemble venerating her deity. The pupils and brows were originally inlaid, perhaps with black glass. Deaccessioned by The Metropolitan Museum of Art for return to the Kingdom of Thailand, 2023
